Ready to pull off Box of Tricks

Manchester theatre company Box of Tricks returns to The Continental in Preston next Thursday with award-winning playwright Tom Morton-Smith’s compelling new play, In Doggerland.

It tells the funny and heartfelt story of four people struggling to move forward under the weight of past trauma.

The play explores the themes of loss and grief; family and home; and what makes up the essence of an individual. Morton-Smith is an award-winning playwright and former writer-in-residenceat acclaimed new writing company, Paines Plough.

He is also currently under commission with the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Box of Tricks have already performed My Arms and WordPlay at the Continental – both to acclaim.
