PAID: Blackrod Scarecrow Festival, Blackrod, Saturday, June 30 and Sunday, July 1

Once again Blackrod Village will be teeming with scarecrows waiting for you to visit. The schools will be open with lots for children to see and do. Refreshments are available at many outlets and everything you need to know features in the festival programme, priced £2, and available from selling points as you enter the village. From 10am until 7pm both days.

PAID: Vision Board Workshop, Chorley, Saturday, June 30

Chorley and District Model Railway Club is holding it’s Big & Little Train Summer Show at Leyland Library. The event is open from 9.30am until 2.30pm.

FREE: Egyptian Display, Adlington, from Monday, July 2 until Tuesday, July 31

There will be a display of Egyptian artifacts at Adlington Library, provided by the Wigan Egyptology Society. For more information email adlington.library@lancashire.gov.uk.
