From top grades, to dream destinations, and generally surviving the disruptive pandemice years, pupils from across Preston and its surrounding areas have proved they truly are superstars.

1. Fatou Camara from Preston (Cardinal Newman College, Preston)
Finished her BTEC Health and Social Care level 3 with 3 Distinction stars and will be studying a social work degree at UCLan. Fatou said: "The sky is our limit...anything is possible if we put our mind to it... 2. Max Tyson from Penwortham (Cardinal Newman College, Preston)
Securing an A* in Maths, A in Physics and A Further Maths, Max will study Maths at Leeds University. He said: "When I got my results it just made me feel like everything had come back around for me, like I could afford to stop for once and just enjoy the moment." Photo: Neil Cross
3. Kay Taylor and Katie Riley both from Chorley (Cardinal Newman College, Preston)
Kay recieved 3A* (sociology, philosopy and media studies) and will study Communication and Media with a year in Industry at University of Liverpool. Her best friend since birth, Katie was awarded A*BC but has an unconditional offer to do Interior Design at Falmouth University.
