Lancashire foodies are in for treat as it’s announced the new Hickory’s Smokehouse in Hutton will be opening three days ahead of schedule.

The Southern style smokehouse has been completed after months of renovation to the former Anchor Inn site in Liverpool Road.

It was set to open on Monday, August 22, but due to the success of three soft-launch nights this week, the team are ready for a 4pm Friday opening and say they are “beyond excited” and ‘can’t wait’ to show guests what’s instore.

Managing Director John Welsh said: “We have been looking for the perfect site in Lancashire for some time now. When we found the Hutton site and met some of the local community, we knew it was the perfect spot for a Hickory’s.

"We have had so much support from the local community and we cannot wait to welcome them all to our new home and hopefully convert a whole host of new fans to all things BBQ!”

So, what can you expect?

Hickory’s is known for its family-friendly welcome and authentic BBQ classics.

The whole family has been thought of at Hickory’s Hutton with dining for up to 150 guests, including a range of seating from cosy booths to larger tables for groups to enjoy and an open kitchen and Chef’s Bar.

Inspired by a trip to South Carolina there’s a cosy sheltered veranda for all-year drinking and dining outside, plus some additional outdoor seating too.

The dedicated bar area is designed to be a focal point for regulars and the three large screens will be showing all major US sports and major rugby, golf and of course, the upcoming World Cup.
