Kitchen blaze at Fulwood
Preston-based firefighters were called out to Fulwood last night after a kitchen blaze got out of hand.
Two fire engines attended the scene at a house on Holmfield Road at around 6.25pm.
The team, equipped with breathing apparatus, used one hose reel and a portable fan to extinguish the fire, which started in a cooker, and clear the smoke.
