It was a family affair when Paul Burt, an engineer, married “stay at home mum” Jemma Camplin at Chipping Congregational Church.

The groom’s grandfather conducted the ceremony and the colour scheme on the day was blue and white, with a reception at Chipping Village Community Hall

Jemma, who wore a Maggie Sottero dress and carried white roses with sapphire diamante centres, said: “It was a small personal wedding ceremony attended by close family and friends.

“The children’s entertainer Betty Balloon was a huge hit on the day, especially trying to teach all 80 guests how to make a balloon animal.

“The IceDreamExperience ice cream man kept everybody’s sweet tooth sedated with the delicious homemade ice cream.

“And photographer Stuart Homer held a fantastic novelty picture session for all the guests, this was a huge hit as the weather was very windy and rained most of the day.”

Time to salivate – the three-tier lemon sponge cake had a lemon curd centre, vanilla sponge with a white chocolate cream centre and double chocolate sponge with a milk chocolate cream centre.

Yum.
