One person taken to hospital after two-car crash in Clitheroe

A casualty was taken to hospital after a two-vehicle collision in the early hours of the morning.

Emergency services including firefighters from Clitheroe were called to the incident just after midnight at Edisford Road, Clitheroe.

A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue said: "Two fire engines from Clitheroe Station attended the road traffic collision. The incident involved two vehicles and there was one casualty who was conveyed to hospital.

"Firefighters made the scene safe using an environmental grab pack and lighting. Crews were at the scene for around 90 minutes."
